Save West Windsor from Industrialization!
In May of 2022, I went to a planning board meeting to learn the shocking details about Industrial Warehouse Complex, Bridge Point 8, that borders Lawrence, West windsor and Princeton. I learned that some greedy, unreasonable people plan to develop a minimum of 5.5million square feet of warehouse space in an overburdened location. The plan was simply untenable. The 200-800 tractor trailers per hour, added to this already traffic-heavy, flood prone region triggered me to say, simply, NO WAY. This cannot ever come to pass. Thousands of area residents and workers joined me in this fight and we are not slowing down. Join me, Stacey Fox in forcing our leaders to do the right thing and kick greed to the curb
I build a grass-roots movement, starting with blank yard signs, printed at home, sealed with packing tape and distributed to neighbors to spread the word. I knocked on the door of the neighbor most impacted by this ridiculous project and he signed on to the suit with me. Thousands of folks signed the petition, and hundreds donated to the lawsuit.
Greed won and we lost in court, HOWEVER, we are at a crossroads and considering all options, including an appeal. I have said all along that this plan is so bad that it will kill itself. I do believe we need to help it off the cliff or greed just might have its way, and we cannot let that happen! Future generations are depending on us to leave them an inhabitable New Jersey!
